If you notice decreased braking performance, squeaking noises, or see that the brake pads are worn down to less than 1/8 inch (3mm), it's time to replace them. Always check them regularly for wear.

Keep your brake pads clean and free of debris. Avoid excessive heat buildup by not riding aggressively for long periods. Regularly check for wear and replace them as soon as they’re too thin to function properly.
